We’ve had this about a month now and we love it. I was worried due to the weight it would be hot but it’s actually still quite breathable. I even add a blanket on top sometimes still (I turn the AC freezing cold at night). It fits into my duvet cover fine even though the sizing is a little different. It’s not the easiest getting it in and out to wash it but it’s doable if you’re strong. Doesn’t bother me too much. I do feel like we sleep a little more soundly with this. I would definitely recommend this if you like heavy blankets! I even washed it in my washer and it came out nice.

Purchased an open box blanket for when I sleep with my significant other. I sleep with one most nights and it was time to upgrade to the Queen Comforter. My partner was hesitant at first but obliged knowing my insomniac tendencies. The first night took some getting used to, and I still don't think that I've totally convinced my partner, but we both have slept great every night since, whether they want to admit it or not! There was a delay in communication as to when my item was shipping, however, it was quickly resolved with a simple email to Baloo. My blanket arrived in a timely manner in the original packaging with no stains, rips, or smells. It was seriously in brand new condition. I am so excited to be able to sleep with my partner again (right after we purchased an expensive, secondary mattress for the guest room for the purpose of sleepless nights).

Pros:

* Weighted Blanket Feels good on top of body (like a giant hug)

* Material feels good and of good quality

Cons:

* Weighted blankets are not washed from previous owner as Baloo does not have onsite washers (so if the previous owner has bed bugs oh well)

* Difficult to put on cover that goes with the comforter

* Customer support is really spotty, could never reach a live person to talk to during business hours

* Weighted blanket doesn’t keep you that warm… even though the blanket is weighted you’d be surprise at how cool it keeps you (I like in Florida so it kinda works out for me, but if you looking for something to keep you warm I’m not sure this is the comforter right for you)

My biggest issue is that Baloo doesn’t mention prior to purchasing that these blankets are not washed! Had I known this I would’ve thought more before purchasing.

The comforter I received had food crumbs in it from the prior owner and who else knows what!

Baloo living, invest in buying a washer and wash these at least once before reselling these to customers.
