WHICH BLANKET IS RIGHT FOR ME?
The general guide is to choose a blanket that's 8 to 12 percent of your body weight. If you fall in the middle of the range, there are a few factors to consider. Choose the 15 lb if you usually sleep on your side, or have joint pain, especially in your knees, hips, or back. Choose the 20 lb weight if you are a healthy adult who usually sleeps on their front or back.
The 12 lb Mini blanket feels very similar in weight to the 15 lb blanket - due to its smaller size the weight is more concentrated on the body.
WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN MY WEIGHTED BLANKET OR DUVET?
Our weighted blankets are safe for the washing machine and dryer. We recommend using cold water on the gentle cycle with whites only, and drying on low heat. The blankets will dry surprisingly quickly, so they don't need a long dryer cycle. For best results do not dry clean or iron.
Linen duvet covers are machine washable on cold and dryer safe. These premium 100% French linen duvets will become softer and softer with every wash.
We do realize that this may be your first time to try a weighted blanket, and it may not be a fit.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your order for a refund. We ask for returns to be initiated within 30 days of delivery to give you time to get used to the new feeling. It may take several nights sleeping with a weighted blanket to adjust. To make a return, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will confirm that your order is eligible* and send you a prepaid shipping label using our negotiated FedEx rates. Once we receive the blanket back in original condition, we issue a refund to your original method of payment minus the amount of the return shipping.
*Orders shipped outside the US are not eligible for return or exchange. Orders purchased through balooliving.com are eligible for a refund with proof of order, e.g. order number or the email address associated with the order. Items purchased from a store or retail website should be returned to the merchant.
Unfortunately, we are not able to process exchanges. However, we will accept your original item when eligible* as a return for a refund, meaning you can place a new order to ship out immediately.
All returns are inspected, and those in very good or 'like new' condition are offered for sale as refurbished items. Please contact us if you would like to purchase a refurbished blanket at a discount by emailing email@example.com.
Baloo guarantees the quality of each of our products—if you experience a problem due to materials or workmanship at any time in the life of the product, please contact us so we can repair or replace your purchase.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OEKO-TEX AND ORGANIC CERTIFICATION?
Organic certification addresses how the raw materials for a fabric are grown. Oeko-Tex certification is an indication of how the fabric is processed, including things like dyes and finishes. Oeko-Tex textiles and fabrics are free of harmful chemicals and safe for human use.
Organic certification means that textile and fabric products are grown according to strict guidelines on the use of petroleum-based fertilizers, pesticides, and synthetic products.
To attain Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, the fabric has been tested and certified to be free from more than 100 substances known to be harmful to human health. The certification is voluntary, must be updated annually, and is conducted by independent third party laboratories. Oeko-Tex is a global standard measured the same way across all countries.
Baloo blankets do contain a thin layer of polyester batting, which is in place to secure the weighted glass microbeads and keep them from pooling within the blanket.
