    I like the feeling of the blanket like I feel safer in my sleep but it’s heavy and likely needs an adjustment period. It’s not hot and it’s soft

    I will buy another one!

    Happy with my purchase. It is more expensive than others but I can see why. I've had others and I did not notice the material was keeping hot. The only thing I wish for is that it would be heavier. I fold it to make it heavier. I know others have said that it was too heavy. I wish I could say that. I might need to get another one and put that on top and folded. I just need to feel like I am a baby all snuggled in (LOL). My husband does not understand. Great purchase. I did not get the cover for it and it is soft and cool enough for me.

    12 lbs of cool comfort

    For the most part I love my individual 12lb throw. It is a good size and a nice weight for sleeping and much to my surprise, despite it being called a cooling blanket, I actually don’t get hot under it and I tend to usually sleep under a sheet and very light blanket. Yeah!

    I wish there were some hints on how to roll over under it. I end up having to wake up to resituate everything, as it tends to slide off or to one side. Ugh.

At the beggining, I had the same issue as you, the blanket would slid off my body, and I needed to reposition it, but that ended after a few weeks of using it. Once my body started relaxing when I slept, I stopped moving, and the blanket stayed in place all night.

Will this weighted blanket make me hot?

Baloo weighted blankets are made with premium 100% cotton. Where other brands have a polyester interior liner which traps heat, Baloo has only clean, breathable cotton. The weight itself comes from lead-free glass mini beads which themselves don't trap heat, giving the blanket pure breathability. Body temp stays regulated in all climates, through all seasons, including all seasons of life.

How do I care for my blanket and duvet cover?

Machine wash the Cotton Duvet Cover in cold water with like colors and tumble dry low. Wash the Weighted Throw by itself in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry on low heat. Do not dry clean or iron, and avoid using bleach on the weighted blanket.

Is 12 pounds the right weight for me?

The 12lb throw is our most versatile size. It is perfect for daytime relaxation, sharing on the couch, or for anyone who wants a comforting touch without the heavier weight of a bed-sized blanket. It's a wonderful way to show yourself compassion and invite restorative rest into your daily routine.

What happens if it's not for me?
