  • Care Instructions

    The Mini weighted blanket is dyed with natural, plant-based materials. One of the qualities of natural dyes is they may change slightly with time.

    • Some fading with use & washing is normal and to be expected, as a natural characteristic of the vegetable dyes.
    • Wash the blanket on its own for the first few washes, with a gentle detergent and cold water. After the first few washes, launder with similar colors.
    • Dry with low heat.
    • The use of spot stain treatments may alter the dye color. For stains, try soaking the blanket in cool water with some gentle detergent added before washing.

Are Open Box items eligible for returns or exchanges?

Open Box items are final sale and may not be exchanged or returned.

Can I use a promo code?

Because Open Box items are heavily discounted to begin with, they are not eligible for further discounts or promotions.

Do you wash Open Box items before reselling?

Please know that we do not have the ability to launder the blankets at our facility, so you may wish to wash your open box item upon receiving. Our blankets can be washed on cold, gentle cycle and dried on low heat.

Are these items under warranty?

Yes! Baloo's items are built to last, including our Open Box blankets. If at any time you experience an issue due to the quality of materials or workmanship, we would be glad to offer a repair or replacement.

How will I know if my item is Open Box?

The order confirmation will be emailed to the email address indicated at checkout, and will include the name of the item ordered, and the open box designation. We do not include packing slips or receipts in the shipment. In some cases, the new packaging may consist of a cotton dust bag in lieu of a canvas tote. The SKU on the box will include a "-R" at the end.
