I believe in weighted blankets, but I have not had any difference in my sleep. I do love sleeping with the weight on me. I do fall asleep faster. I don't get hot with the blanket on me even when my husband is curled up next to me. I am hoping it will work.

Not for anyone with osteoarthritis
I bought the 12.5 pound throw and hoped it would help my sleep. After putting it over me for two minutes, my legs and arms were in pain and numb. I went online and learned that these weighted blankets cause pain and numbness in those with osteoarthritis. These symptoms lasted 2 weeks until I had a massage therapist work on my arms and legs for an hour. Be warned!
