Will this weighted blanket make me too hot?

Baloo weighted blankets are made with 100% cotton and no polyester or synthetic liners that can trap heat. Most people find them breathable and comfortable to use year-round.

For the coolest experience, place your Baloo over your top sheet and underneath any other bedding. Very hot sleepers may prefer to use it without a duvet cover.

How do I wash my Baloo weighted blanket?

Baloo weighted blankets are machine washable and dryer safe. Wash the blanket by itself in cold water on a gentle cycle, then dry on low heat.

Wash only one blanket at a time and check your washing machine’s weight capacity, as the blanket will be heavier when wet. We recommend using a commercial washer for the King size. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.

How do I choose the right weight for me?

Our 12lb Weighted Throw is our most popular and versatile option. It is designed for individual use and works well on the bed or couch.

For the Full/Queen Weighted Blanket, we recommend the 15lb option if you are over 65, sleep on your side, or experience joint, knee, hip, or back pain. Healthy adults who sleep on their back or stomach and prefer a heavier feeling may enjoy the 20lb option.

    Worth every penny!

    This weighted throw blanket is amazing! It is so soft and a good weight for naps on the couch. I also ordered a duvet cover for an older weighted blanket and it is so beautifully made. The packaging it came in is worth mentioning… the blanket was in a beautiful zippered canvas bag that can be reused and the cover had natural fiber ribbon on it as an added touch. Will definitely buy again and would highly recommend!!

    I just love this throw! It’s a perfect size and very heavy (12 lbs). The glass beads are evenly distributed in the quilted pockets giving the blanket a nice even feel. I noticed a difference in my relaxation and sleep immediately.
